Does it have anything to do with merging VLC media player and LabVIEW? If not then a 7 year old thread is not the best place to ask. I suggest making your own thread wher eyou ask the question with words, and clear description of what you have tried and what you are looking to accomplish.

Dej,
You should be able to get the ActiveX of VLC from their web site.
However, the version of ActiveX is < 1.0
I would use Windows media player instead.

I don't know if there is one. Last time I used VLC to record audio was 5 years ago. I had to use VLC as an external exe. I used VLC with VLM config.
I used Windows media player for playback, in order to sync with video and TDMS data.
You should visit VLC forum for help.

All,
Attached is a new version that uses the VLC ActiveX v2 interface that is currently available. It seemed like the ActiveX library changed and the previous examples no longer work. I tested this with vlc-2.2.4-win32.exe.

Hi,
I have installed the VLC media player. But in the object list of the active X, I can not find the "VideoLAN VLC ActiveX Plugin v1". Any idea will be appreciated!
