hp3458 can´t meassure with NPLC=500

Hello, I am making measurements with hp3458, so far I obtained measures using National Instruments drivers, however when I wanted to impose NPLC = 500 it gave me timeout error. Can anybody help me?, Thanks.

NPLC=500 means every measurement will take a long time. Increase the timeout value.

Soory for the long delay, I was out of office for the holidays

In the VISA advanced pallette you will find the set timeout function. It uses a millisecond value.
