hp437 vi

Does anybody have, or have come across a vi that will handle a HP437 power
meter over gpib and data socket?

What you'll probably have to do is to download the GPIB driver from the Resource Library for the direct control of the instrument and then connect DataSocket Write and DataSocket Read functions where you need them.
