"daq mode"?? do you mean a DAQ module?
Which one? Is it a newer one or older module?
If it is a newer module, make sure you have the latest DAQmx drivers installed. If is a particular old, perhaps obsolete one, then the most recent DAQmx drivers may have dropped support for it and you would need to install an older version.
