why don't you load that LV7 file with your LV2011? That should be possible without any real problems...

Good question, Gerd. I didn't even see that it was LabVIEW 7. For some reason I read LabVIEW 5. Been doing too many conversions...

I suspect the original code was stripped of the block diagram, and LabVIEW is saying it can't convert it.
