Hi, again,

its happened, because in the absense of signal the background noise of your camera distributed (may be "stretched" right word) over whole histogram.

You should use interval range input (which should be set to min/max possible values delivered from your camera).

See the code below:

and see that histogram on the left side contained "delta" peaks, and histogram on the right side — not.
