I'm having difficulties opening old VIs which have been made with Labview 5 in Windows 3.11. I need to open them in Windows XP and I have tried it with Labview 7.1 and 5.0 and they both fail. 7.1 gives me error saying: "Fatal Internal Error : "image.cpp", line 12452" and 5.0 says: "Failure : "E:\lv45\mgsource\image.c", line 10424.
I have searched the web for similar problems and found some cases regarding image.cpp but with different line number. The solutions given for those cases were reducing colors, resolution and acceleration, trying the newest display drivers, basic vga drivers, etc etc. and none of them helped me. I also tried running Labview 5 in compatibility mode, but with no success.
Is there any way how those files could be opened in WinXP?
