imaq1394 set camera shutter - help required

hello,

i am using the vision camera and the imaq1394 drivers/tools in labview. I basically need to set the shutter speed of the camera from labview.

i found a vi called "set_camera_shutter" but this is for imaqdx... please how else can i set the shutter for a imaq1394????

i used the additional s/w provided by NI called the vision assistant something and in there you can set the shutter speed for your camera...

p.s. i tried to use the vi "set_camera_shutter" but when i ran it it gave me an error...

Hi

The imaqdx drivers are an upgrade from the imaq1394 drivers.

You should be able to use the imaqdx tools for your application as long as you use only imaqdx tools and drivers in the rest of your application. You should be able to replace any imaq1394 drivers/tools that you have in your program with imaqdx ones.
