I try to figure out how to implement the impact testing with the Network
function of Labview. This typical functions on classical FFT analyzers. The
Network function works fine. I tried it both in simulation and real
pre-triggered data acquisition with an MIO card (neglecting the phase shift
due to interchannel delays).
I stil have a problem with the exponential windows to taper off the end of
vibration transient following the impact. I may have forgotten how
theoretically I can easily recover the transfer function with the original
damping. Anyone an idea?
