Hi,
I am running LabVIEW 8.5.1. Several months ago, I upgraded NI-VISA Runtime to 5.1.1. After that, I was having problems building applications with NI-DAQmx, so I upgraded NI-DAQmx to 9.4. I discovered that 9.4 does not support LV 8.5.1, so I downgraded NI-DAQmx to 9.3. However, that seems to have left a conflict in NI-VISA Runtime. Whenever I build an application installer and include NI-VISA Runtime 5.1.1, the build process asks me to locate NI-DAQmx 9.4. If I re-install NI-VISA Runtime 5.1.1, will that resolve this problem? How exactly do I re-install NI-VISA Runtime 5.1.1? I don't see an obvious way to do this.
Thanks,
Jason Mazzotta

Hi Jason,
Have you uninstalled NI DAQmx 9.4? Double check by opening Measurement & Automation Explorer, expand the Software tab and make sure NI DAQmx 9.4 is not listed there. If it is listed, right click on the Software category and select Change/Remove Software and uninstall the 9.4 version of DAQmx.
Are you building an application or an installer? If you are building an installer make sure the NI DAQmx Core Runtime 9.4 is uncheck in your Project>>Build Specifications>>Installer>>Additional Installers.
