I am using Labview 2009 and sometimes I have to use .NET assemblies for my test. In the past I ran into errors when using assemblies built under framework 4.0 so I switched to framework 3.5 . My software team is telling me that we may have to use options from framework 4.0 but I can't upgrade my version of Labview. Is there a patch that can fix this problem?

Hello,
I have been checking on this and I can't seem to find a .net work around to run framework 4.0 assemblies in a previous framework. If your company is going to use .NET4.0 assemblies it would probably make since to use the 4.0 framework.
good luck.

While we obviously didn't test LabVIEW 2009 with .NET 4.0 (since 4.0 released in 2010) and don't officially support such a setup, it might be worth trying to instruct LabVIEW to use the .NET 4.0 runtime as outlined here if you haven't already.
Depending on which .NET 4.0 options your software team is using it may work.
