lSCXI-1121 Jumper configuration

For our general applications with this module, we have never had the need to go above a 5V input signal. At this time i have the need to input and detect from 0-10V but i can't find the jumper configurations to allow this. My readings will peg out at 5V depending on how i set it. I have jumpers W16 and W26 set to 10V instead of 3.33 with W14 and W15 set to voltage and not current. I've tried numerous gain configurations to no avail. Is there something i am missing? Thanks any help would be appreciated!

Hi Mikey,

The jumpers W16, W26, W14, W15 are for setting the excitation volage levels for channel 0 of the module. If you want to change the input range, please look at the gain jumper settings (jumpers W3 and W4). The SCXI-1121 User Manual explains this in more detail:

SCXI-1121 User Manual and Specifications

If you check the gain settings and they look correct, please tell me what DAQ card are you using to interface with the SCXI chassis. Perhaps there is an input there.

Thanks for the reply. I did try the gain jumpers but still couldn't get above 5V. I was told that the SCXI-1121 will only go up to 5V and in order to go above that, you need to use the SCXI-1327 terminal block with the SCXI-1121. My DAQCARD is AI-16E-4 and should be good up to 10V. I tried the polarity settings on that too with no avail. Thanks though, hopefully the SCXI-1327 will fix my problem.
