label/property node of reference not changing

see attached vi.
If I change the label for the ring, the corresponding labels of the reference/the property node do change as one would expect.
Also, even if you create a new reference/property node, then after that change the label, it does not change (for reference /node)
The main vi has been recently converted from LV 7.1 to 7.1.1

I have LV7.1.1, and I tried changing labels with your vi. The ring property node and reference did not change like you said. The slider control changed however. I added more controls (string, boolean, text ring, enum) and created property nodes and references for all. Each and every one of them had a name change that followed the label when I changed the label. Your ring looked like a classic dialog ring. So I added one, and created the reference and property node. When I changed the label, the reference and node lables changed as expected. Something happened when you created the reference and property node for your original ring control. Try deleting it and adding it again. Was it the old classic dialog ring or something else? Was it copied from an older LV version?

I created like you did, a dialog ring, and when I change its label, the corresponding text of its refernces/property nodes changed, as expected.

Apparenty something must have happened to the control. Initially (early 2004), my application was being developed with LV 7.0. So the ring must have been created with LV 7.0. Later in May, the application was converted to version 7.1. and recently (about Jan 13), to LV 7.1.1.
