labview 8.2 Compact RIO vi communicating with MAX channels

I am still trying to run my CAN Receive project / CAN Receive host.vi that is linked to MAX. I have created acouple channels and i get a brief (1-2 sec) response but gives me an error. I compile and deploy the vi with no errors. I only get this error when i run it (CAN Receive host.vi):

ERROR 1074388678 occured at CAN Read (Single-Chan Single-Samp Dbl).vi

Possible reason: NI-CAN (Hex 0xBFF6213A)

Why am i getting this error?

What is a solution that i can get this fixed?

Do i need to configure MAX with the project? If so, (per MAX instruction), what is IVI and how do i configure it?

I just wanted to clarify that setting the Interface Virtual Bus Timing to True on the Set Property  and ncSetAttr VI solved the issue for you.
