I have a problem with my LV. I am using LV 8.5 for 2 years now, and my LV is crashing like crazy. Sometimes I don't even have to do anything and it will crash. And everything is happening while in programming mode - no run mode is active. The MS-window appears with the famous "program not responding message". Ctr-Alt-Del is the only thing that helps.
Details: I have a Quad Core Intel with 4GB ram. Win XP with SP3. 100GB free disk space. My comp is working wonderful.
I am working on a LV project with around 30 VI´s (mostly wrote by myself). Over the 2 years I deleted and wrote new VI´s, but everything happens in 1 project or folder. Now I can't work anymore, since my LV is crashing every 10min. I have no clue why this is happening - the crash appears randomly. All I can say is that my main VI has a lot of errors, since I started changing it drastically. Can it be, that the compiler is causing the crash? With a new VI I can work without problems. But with my main VI which is connected to all the other subVI´s, the crash will happen sooner or later.
Question: Are there some configuration/programming rules with LabVIEW 8.5 which I don't know about? Or maybe I have to do some configuration on my Windows? Pls help...
I am sorry, but I can't post the LV code right now.

Hello,
do you have the opportunity to try to open your project on an other system? It would be interest to know if the same problem will occurence on an other system.
You wrote that you have now a lot of errors in your VI. Maybe when you open the main vi as a single data and clear the errors than you maybe don't have the problems after that.
