labview crashes without error message under Mac OS X 10.2.8

Labview 6.1 frequently crashes in the classic environment of Mac OS X 10.2.8 on an iMac (Version 2.1), even when I'm not running my application (e.g. when browsing VIs). Since crashes occur so often, working with Labview is not possible. What can I do to solve this problem?

Sounds like an unstable install issue. Has this always been the case since the time you installed it?
Try uninstalling and reinstalling. The following KB
LabVIEW 6.1 on Mac 10.2 issue shows one of the issues LabVIEW 6.1 has on Mac OS 10.2.
