labview hangs using .net

Labview  (7.1)  hangs when I try to do anything with .net assemblies, such as looking at the assembly reference or placing a constructor. The only way is to end it from windows. Any suggestions?

If this is .NET Framework 2.0 Beta, there have been other troubles reported with NI Software not working well with it.  I can't get into searchview right now or I would look over the info-LabVIEW archives for more info.  I don't see anything about problems with LabVIEW and .NET here, but I have seen something.

P.S.  If you don't have .NET Framework 2.0 Beta installed, then this doesn't really apply.  So, do you?

Yes, I do have 2.0. Thank you for the hint - not much I can do at this point though.

Can't you go to the evil empire's site (uSoft) and download the 1.1 framework?

This is a known issue with LV 7.x and the .NET 2.0 betas. We have a patch that we are letting people try out until .NET 2.0 is formally released and we can formally release our patch. If you are interested in trying it, please contact me at bloggingbrian@gmail.com.
