The LabVIEW community edition has all the capabilities that professional editions have. One may suppose it shouldn't be any different.

did you read the error explanation?

Is Matlab installed on your computer?

this is what the explanation

"LabVIEW: (Hex 0x416) LabVIEW cannot initialize the script server. Ensure the server software is installed."

but I have Matlab on my pc

Is your Matlab licensed?

If not, it can totally be the issue.

There are many free alternatives to Mathworks' Matlab. I use Octave GNU (General public License) which should work fine with LabView. (even paid I would prefer it over Matlab)
