sir,
i want labview block diagrams for LDR PEIZOELECTRIC ,THERMISTOR etc (i.e physical signals to electrical signals)
is it possible ? with out ni elvis . only with block diagram
thank you sir,

Hi Putnam,
My question is something similar on your explanation to the OP.
Is it possible to simulate Thermocouple, Thermistor, RTD, LVDT & Strain Gauge measurements using any NI hardware, without the actual availability of the sensors
I ve mentioned above?
I searched & got some PXI/SCXI modules to do the actual signal conditioning & analog I/O measurements. ![]()
But now
my manager tells me that we just need do the simulation first, since the actual sensors wont be available as of now. ![]()

Well I appologize for the delay in answering. Was off the forum for a bit and some of the threads I was involved in moved down the list, out of sight.
Parthabe - I'm not sure what you want to do as far as simulating. If it is provide signal inputs on one DAQ setup using outputs from another, the answer is yes, if you know what the signals of the various transducers you are simulating look like. Otherwise if you just want to simulate what the signals will look like after acquisition, to allow you to work on the rest of the code, that too is possible. Of course either will take a bit of coding, and some really hard looking at what the signals should look like (plus adding some noised, etc., to make them more realistic). Yet another technique, no trivial in either the effort or the cost, is to build HIL (Hardware In the Loop) using NI FPGA to build actual hardware simulators. I have done this in instances where the actual device being simulated was not going to exist for many months and support hardware development had to progress in the mean time.
