I'm not sure what a "measurement and automation system" consists of, but if it is a bunch of equipment from NI (hardware of various sorts) and it came with a USB Flash Drive that contains 2022 Q1 software, then probably the 2022 Q3 software that is on your system will work just fine.  NI tries (not always successfully) to "upgrade" its software so higher numbered versions should be back-compatible with earlier ones (within a few years).  As LabVIEW 2022 Q3 was fairly recently released, a Flash Drive that was "frozen in manufacturing" a few months ago might well have such an earlier Version number.

Bring up your system, plug in your device, open MAX, and see if the device is present in "Devices and interfaces".  If so, you should be Good to Go.

It should be fine as there is no change in LabVIEW major version (2022). Moreover, in 2022, drivers are LabVIEW version agnostic.

1. LabVIEW 2022 was not released until Q3.  So it will not be compatible with drivers from Q1 (most of which are actually version 21.X, meaning compatibility with 2021 development systems).

2. Not all drivers have been moved to the "LabVIEW version agnostic".  I noticed many moved to this with the 2022 Q4 software release.  See this for more details: Extending Compatibility Between LabVIEW and NI Drivers with Addon Support.

Now back to the OP's issue...What devices, exactly, are you using here?  NI recently released a bunch of drivers to be usable with LabVIEW 2022 Q3, but it is likely there are versions of the drivers available.

These are just modules.

Where do you plug them in? cRIO? cDAQ?

Best regards,

Then you just need the DAQmx driver.  There is a 2022 Q3 and a Q4 version that will work with LabVIEW 2022.
