large files with app builder

Hello,

I have created an application of my programm. It's nice small (around 1 mb). I want to use it on another laptop, so I created an installer and build this with LV8.0 RT and Visa RT because I have to read the COM-port.

But when I look to the size of the installer it's around the 207 MB! I'm not happy with this!

How can I resize it down?

I'm using LV8.0 Base with app.builder. In the configscreen of the installer I can only select "full" by installertype.

When I have installed the programm on the other laptop I look what was installed. There were many things I don't need. How can I remove them (ofcourse not after installing  but on the buildsystem )?

Instead of building an installer, why not build a development distribution and take it on to the other system?

of course, you will need to have labview installed on this new system in the first place

After testing we want to share the programm via the internet. So downloading 207Mb is a lot of time

Can u explain what exactly you want to do?

Why not create an application without the RT installer. You have to install the Run-Time only once anyway (but if you switch versions). I even think you can download the LV RT from NI's web page some where.
