Hi...I'm using labview/GPIB to control a lecroy wavepro DDA-260. I'm having trouble setting the vertical scale. I need to be able to have the labview routine control the scaling through my testing.
I am trying to use the "configure channel.vi", but keep getting the error:
Help would be appreciated...thanks much!

Also...forgot to say... I can do everything else I need to do (trigger setup, waveform acquisition, parameter measurement, etc.)
I just am stuck right now with manually configuring the vertical scaling appropriately for my waveform amplitude. I need to move from manual config to programmable config.
Thanks...Jackson

Perhaps you should consider reading the programmer's manual for the instrument.

Hi Jackson,
Based on the error message you are getting, it appears you are attempting to address a setting on the scope that cannot be changed due to some other setting. i.e. RIS mode is only available at very small timebase settings so attempting to address a RIS setting when the RIS is not available will cause this error.
If you can change the setting manually on the scope, you can change it remotely. i.e. C1:VDIV 1.0 should change the vertical scale for channel 1 to be 1 Volt per division. Make sure all of the values you are sending are valid also. (Some probes and settings will limit the scale, offset, coupling etc. that can be used).
Since this is not an NI product issue, I suggest we continue this discussion via email or telephone.
