lockIn Demo License

I've downloaded the LockinDemo.vi from the NatInst network. It seems to
be a free demo object and is a good program to show the LockIn Amplifier
concepts.
Included is a LockIn CheckLicense.vi which I do not know what it is
for, but it looks like I'm a allowed to use the demo packages just for a
while - true??
I would like to copy some parts of the demo to build my own
lockInDemonstartor which includes some advanced features. Is it possible
to transform library VIs to normal VIs?

Thany for any help
Urs

Usually any example program downloaded from NIs web page is freeware. If this example is in the form of an llb then I don't think it should expire. You can always save individual VIs from a library by simple opening the VI in LabVIEW and then selecting File >> Save As. You can then select to save the VI in a different location out of the LLB.

Some of the subVIs are also protected, so I cannot see how the code is
written neither how the algorithm here does work. Is it possible to buy
this package from NI with every open to me?
Thanks
Urs
