Index Array, simply pull down until you have 8 elements.

You want "number to boolean array."

[Edit] Didn't realize you had already converted the number to an array.  If this is so, then Darin's got the goods.  🙂

In case you want booleans or numbers.

I hear good things about the NI online tutorials, they may be very useful for you.

Depending on your browser you can drag that code snippet directly to your block diagram and the code will appear.  Context Help will show you that it is Index Array and certainly exists in LV11.

The stretching is a convenience to allow you to index multiple consecutive elements.

Simply click on the bottom edge and drag down to resize the index array function.

Darin- the resize feature of these functions is actually conspicuously missing in the core curriculumSmiley Wink
