lvanlys does not load on some machines

I have a 2011 vi exe running on several XP machines with 2011 RTE. On one of the machines, the exe fails like this:

Not matter what I do, I cannot get it to run on this one machine. Ideas?

( also:  I also have a 8.5 exe with the 8.5 RTE that does the same thing on the same machine )

Unless you actually tell us what you tried, we cannot offer much help. Did you built an installer or simply copied the executable over. Did you install the "std" run time engines? (Minimum will not do). Have you tried diabling antivirus briefly? Etc...

I downloaded and installed full RTE, and it worked! I guess I had the wrong installer...even though it was working on other machines.

Fortunately for LabVIEW 2011 they finally renamed the minimum runtime engine to "Web Browser Plug-in".

Much more intuitive and much less confusion 😄
