unfortunatelly I don´t know a way to include units to a .lvm file. But if you want to use the file in DIAdem afterwards why don´t you use a .tdm file? If you capture your data with DAQmx then the units are saved correct to the file. An example for this is "write tdm file.vi" from the example libary. If you exchange the fgen express vi with a DAQ Assistant vi you can test this.
