main vi and sub vi opening simutaneously

For some reason, everytime I open up the main vi the sub vi also opens. When I created a stand-alone application of the main vi and ran it, the same thing happens. Can anyone here tell me whats going on and how I can stop this from happening?

Check the settings of your sub vi. It sounds as if you checked "Show front panel when loaded".
