matlab script node

I currently have a Labview 8.2.1 student edition, is the matlab script node or mathscript included or do I have to download from NI website? Is there any evalution edition that I can try out before make a purchase? Thanks

Hello,

Both the MathScript node and the MATLAB® script node are present in the LabVIEW 8.2.1 student edition and the evaluation version -- no download is necessary.  The MathScript node can be found on the Programming >> Structures palette and the Mathematics >> Scripts & Formulas palette.  The MATLAB script node can be found on the Mathematics >> Script & Formulas >> Script Nodes palette.

You can download an evaluation version by going to www.ni.com/labview and clicking on "Test-Drive LabVIEW"
