missing QuitLabView function

Hi!

I cannot find the QuitLabView function in my palettes. How can I install it?!

I am using LabView Professional Development System, version 19.0.1f1 (32-bit) on  Windows 10 Education, version 1803.

I have already uninstalled LabView, download a new installation file and re-installed it, but I got the same...

Thank you for your help,

Best Regards,

Francesco

Odd that it is missing.

But is there a reason you need to use it?

I have never, ever needed to use that or the Stop LabVIEW function in any of my VI's.

If I'm in development environment, I don't ever want a VI shutting down the whole environment.  If I'm creating a built exe application, then I write it so that it wraps up all loops and running subVI"s nicely, and as a final step before execution stops, closes the front panel.

Hi fmessi,

what happens when you open QuickDrop and type "Exit" or "Quit"?

(There's more missing items from the palette compared to my LV2019 installation…)

Best regards,
GerdW

You are also missing a couple of other things. Compare with my LV2019 palette:application control.png

You are missing Get Command Line ..., Get Drag Drop Data, Application Builder too.

Maybe a complete wipe and reinstall will help, I'm not sure. Or try installing on a VM to see that it works as expected first.

I agree with you, RavensFan, but I am using (or would like to use) the One-Wire utilities from Interfaceinnovations and they are using it... so I can't run anything without QuitLabView

I have tried to uninstall everything (from NI Package Manager) and reinstall from a new download... didn't work, same situation...

Something is very wrong here.

Any chance you have a user directory on a network share or something like that? Anything that is different from a 'normal' windows installation?
