missing file compute waveform.vi

i wrote a program a while ago in labview 8.5.1.I have installed 8.6 since. Now when i try and run this same labview program, there is a block "compute waveform.vi" missing in my program.(it has a questioni mark where this block should be). I cannot find how to insert this missing block and  now i cant run this program. any help?

Hi Gillyme,

I believe that compute waveform.vi is a Traditional DAQ VI.  If you wish to continue using it you will need to reinstall the Traditional DAQ driver.

Alternatively, if your device is supported by DAQmx, then this article may help you convert your code to the newer driver (which can be found here)
