Can anyone tell me if labview supports modbus, or if anyone has made VI's
for it?

Yes, modbus protocol can be written in LV.

with "labview modbus".

Yes you can use LabVIEW for the modbus protocol. Several people have written VIs for this. AIR Technical Automation has some vis available for download on their site ( http://www.air.nl/html/vi_library_-_by_name.htm ). Also search ni.com for some more resources. See the following discussion from a few days ago that talks about modbus a little:

This link talks about some more options including using OPC server, but you can certainly do it without buying addition software...
