moving object

Hi all,

I'm trying to build a vi that a object (like circle) is moving at a constant
speed in one direction. I just have no idea from where I should start. Any
good ideas? Thanks in advance.

You can do that by drawing the circle in a picture indicator using "Draw Circle by Radius.vi", located in:

Diagram palette -> Graphics & Sound -> Pictures Functions

Use the "Pixel Center" to locate the circle in the picture indicator.

I attached a VI in which you can locate a circle at run-time in a picture indicator by moving two slide controls: one for the vertical and one for the horizontal position. You can also change the radius of the circle and if you want to fill the circle.

The vi was written in LabVIEW 6.

Hi Dongpyo,

You may use xy-graph in a while or for loop.
I would like to recommend you to take a look at changing
array data for drawing a object at the first step before
it have to be transferred to cluster data.

Actually I can make a sample immediately on commonly
used PC, but the PC seems to be a little more busy
in use than I(-;).

Hope to help,
Tom

Hi,

you could use a custom control. First create the picture of the object
you wants to display and insert into the control. Inside your vi you can
move the control by using the property node for the position on screen.
Otherwise look also at the picture control/indicator.
