my SignalExpress launches then shuts down with an error

I have not used the labview in a while and now when I boot my computer I get an nidevmon.exe application failed to initialize properly.  Then when I launch signalviewexpress it starts then fails with an error

"COULD NOT START THE APPLICATION PLEASE CONTACT NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS"

Hi A&A_B,

There are several possible reasons for the nidevmon.exe error.  I first suggest trying some of the solutions outlined in the KnowledgeBase article:  Application Error nidevmon.exe in Traditional DAQ or DAQmx

If you end up at step G (uninstalling the drivers), I would recommend using the MSIBlast utility when uninstalling.  This will clear any remaining driver installation files from your PC.   Keep me posted on your progress.
