I have a VI running on Labview 7.1. The VI is communicating to an Opto22 Simple I/O rack via OptoOPC server. I can subscribe or publish to this server from my VI. I now would like to do a PID loop with a setpoint entered in the front panel and process variables that are read via datasocket connections. I don't need fast timing on this /bc the system can be slow to respond. I don't know where to start on this. Can anybody point me to the appropriate example code? Any advise would be appreciated.
