%nbsp in posts?

Can someone explain why the subject string seems to show up in so many posts on this newsgroup?

Are the messages normally submitted on another forum and then transferred to the newsgroup?

Of the several newsgroups I read, this is the only one I've come across that seems to have this issue and it makes reading the messages rather difficult at times.

Yes, most posts are submitted online in the NI forums and I would suggest to do so too.

While the forum posts are mirrored to the newsgroups and vice versa (e.g. LabVIEW forum <-> comp.lang.labview), there are several forums that are not available via newsgroups.

The NI forums also allow other perks, such as personal profiles and message ratings and it is more secure because it hides your source IP and e-mail address.

Thanks for the explanation and I've now found the web-based forum.  It looks like the HTML formatting is responsible for those wierd strings that all seem to start with "&".

Well - HTML posts are only slightly better to read ..
