need help with pid vi's

hi, i am new with labview and want to vary and measure temperature of my system using a 25 ohm resistor heater and a silicon diode temperature sensor inserted into a cryogenic tank,the sensor has a range of 1.4-425K and i was wondering how to use labview with the PID vi's to control the temperature.

I would check out the PID Control Toolset Manual. There is a lot of good information in it. You can reference it at the following URL:

Also, I would check out the example programs as well. They are always a great place to start and get ideas from.
