negative time domain

Hi to whoever viewing this post,

Basically, i m planning to generate a negative domain(e.g. x(-t)), so as to use this eqn (x(t)+ x(-t)) / 2 in the formula.vi

to define the even components

of the signal and then lastly convert it to frequency domain using FFT.vi

. As well, for odd components by (x(t)- x(-t))/2. However, i met great diffculties in generating a negative time domain for signal...

So do u have any ideas to generate negative domian or do u have any others way to generate the similar results(pls list the necessary vi.. or theorem so i can look it up).

We are here to help you with LabVIEW functions, but I am a little confused as to what you are trying to achieve conceptually.  Once you know, then I will be able to help you use particular LabVIEW functions to achieve your goal.  You can also refer to LabVIEW Help and try searching around for examples that relate to your application.
