new computer and labview

Hi,
We just bought a new computer and we want to transfer all of our LabView stuff to the new computer. The old computer uses Windows 2000 and the new one uses Windows XP. We wonder if it's gonna be ok if we just transfer all of the LabView codes to this new computer. Is there any thing extra we need to do or work on to make sure that LabView will function fine. Should we make a copy of the LabView program on the new computer and put on the new computer, or should we just reinstall LabView on the new computer?

Thanks.

I would first start by making a known good copy of all my labview VI's and storing them away and not opening them with XP. second make sure you have all the upgrades for xp installed before installing labview. third install labview on xp machine and verify the installation and run the vi's you know should work, if they work then uninstall labview from the existing 2000 machine so as not to void your licensing agreement.lthough they say everything will run just fine I would take all neccessary precautions. You can also search this forum and look at all the trouble other people have had in the past.
