ni daq usb 6008

Hi

I am a new user of NI USB-6008 DAQ. Currently I am getting a 5 V output from the device and I would like to convert the 5 V to 3.3 V. I have used a voltage divider circuit to change the 5 V to 3.3 V. When I connected the voltage divider circuit to the 5V then original 5V reduced to 2.62 V.  so the voltage divider circuit output is 1.7 V. Why is this happening? Any solution for this? Please help me.

Hi Mohan,

Why is this happening?

I guess the problem is with your voltage divider…

(Maybe the circuit behind your voltage divider drains to much current?)

Any solution for this?

Design a better one…

Please help me.

Then you need to supply a lot more information…

Best regards,
GerdW
