nicitdl5.exe error message stops boot-up twice

I have newly installed NI LabVIEW 2011 on Windows XP.  Before I ever opened LabVIEW, when I boot the computer I get an error message twice before the boot completes:  "Runtime Error!" "Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\nicitdl5.exe" from a window titled "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library".   

What is nicitdl5.exe?  Why is it giving me an error from a newly installed LabVIEW?  How to I stop the error?

Hi user17625,

I believe the problem is related to the Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module.  Are you using that?  If not, try uninstalling it.

So basically in windows, go to Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs/National Instruments Software/Change or Remove/"DSC" and "DSC.vi"/Remove

I rebooted and viola!
