Solved!

Hi

The attached file is a recording of an audio input with no signal aplied. I need to know the noise level in db. I have the latest labview but do not have the sound and vibration tool kit. According to some of my coligues useing other analytical tools the level is about -30db. I am not shure how to code this in Labview. Please help.

Note:

I had to change the file type to .csv to be able to uplad it to this site but it actualy is a .wav file.

Thank you

Hi PercyH,

You should be able to use the Spectral Measurement express vi to do basic analysis of signal noise levels.  There are also several signal analysis tools that come with the base LabVIEW package in the Signal Processing Palette.

Hope this helps!
