nonin Xpod, Labview Interface

Hello:

Its been a month that I am working on a reliable way, to acquire PPG (PhotoPlethysmography) data for my application. Nonin, Xpod has been used in engineering literature, so I decided to give it a shot and try it for my application. But to my surprise no body had published any kind of information on that device (WHY?), which makes it hard for grad students to stay focus on their study. I think someone should have published something similar to this topic long time ago. It is a great sensor to be used for biomedical application. So, Here I have tried that on labview, it works for me and I would like to share it.

I am thankful to people who did carry out research on that sensor and also people in Labviwe community who helped me to establish an interface for it.

So, I would like to share that interface with potential grad students that would wish to use this device in their research.

Please Note that:

The interface is just for research propose, never rely on it for medical application.

There is no grantee that the interface will work perfectly, this is just an idea to give potential users an overall overview of functionality of this sensor.

For more detail please refer to topics at:

There is still alot of space for tuning that code, so, please consider this topic just an overview of the device, NOT an absolute solution for individual.

I woud like to thank MarkRavensFanTodd_Lesherjohnsold and others who spend time, helping me out with this sketch.

Kiran,

Thank you for taking the time to post this! I am sure it will be valuable to others on the forums. Just so you know, we have a community page for sharing code where you could post a document describing the functionality (much as you did here) along with the code. Both would get visibility. I just was not sure if you were aware of it. Thanks again!
