not formatting hard drive

Hello all.

I'm triing to put my RT Desktop Target working.

I already test with the evaluation program (everything is OK), I already boot from a floppy (everiyhing is OK), I already reseted my IP (everything is OK),but when I'm triiing to format with the "Create Desktop PC Format Hard Drive Disk"the systemis returning me amessage saing "not formatting hard drive". My HD is in FAT32.

Somebody know the solution for this problem?

Can I make this via max?

Hi Carmo,

In order to help you, I will need several informations:
1 - Is your RT target a computer or an embeded system (such as PXI)?
2 - What are it's atributes (ref number, memory, ...)?
3 - What is your LabView (or LabWindows/CVI) RT version ?

I cannot see why a boot floppy (like those creatde by MAX) wouldn't work properly. So I'm sure we will find out what the matter is 😄
