omron photomicrosensor

Hi all,

i have an Omron photomicrosensor (sensor) that have to be implemented inside labVIEW. can anyone tell me how to interface the sensor to labview. it will be better if u can give a graphical help for me to view examples and thanks:)

It will be better if you can provide a link to the datasheet of that sensor, or do we need to do all the work

How much basic electronics knowledge do you have?

What is a "NI I/O board"? Which kind of DAQ device do you use?

You need to supply power to the inbuilt LED. (Don't forget the resistor to limit the current…)

And you need to supply power to the output: use 5V and GND to receive a TTL-compatible signal from "O" (aka "output") pin!

Use a digital input on your DAQ device to read this TTL signal…
