Hit the tab button to select "Selector Tools".

Or goto windows>>Show Tools Palette. which displays you the tools palette, Set the Automatic Tools seletion to True.

Now you must be able to select/move the object

(btw- Were you able to do it by multiple clicks?? Smiley Wink )

Hi,
How to set the automatic selection tools true? My tools palette is shown, and I selected postion/size/select tools. But, still doesn't work.
When I double click the object on Front panel, it opens a new front panel with that object instead of locating that object on Block Diagram.

Thanks.

In the tools palette, the LED on the top must be glowing. This indicates that you have selected the "Automatic Tool Selection"

It is opening the Control Editor panel because You have checked the "Open control editor when Double click" to true as shown in figure.

Goto
Tools>>Options, select front panel from the dropdown menu and uncheck the "Open the control editor with double click"

Uncheck it.

Two things to remember.....(you can take that as hints Smiley Wink )

1.  When similar behaviour appears on the front panel/block diagram which makes you feel uncomfortable, go to tools options and glance around.
2. When you think that you cannot set a particular property for a control/Indicaor, last but not the least option is to right click on it.

Ahh... there it is... Thats what I wanted!!!!!! Smiley HappySmiley HappySmiley Happy
