Try the VI (as input give the path to the application wordpad.exe).

 May I ask you to compile your VI in LabVIEW 7.01 version, because even if I have already found a way to make this by running a "command windows" window and attribuate the path of the wordpad, your solution might be more efficient in terms of ressources usage.

Hi,

I couldn't export the VI to previous version. The most previous version is 8.0.

I sent you a screensho of the VI which is very simple.
