open vi reference in exe works in one pc but the same does not in another PC

I have a problem. The exe acts weird.

After building the application to include 3 vis by are opened by vi reference methods, I am able to open  it and run. These three vis are included as dynamic vis. Then I copy the same program  and ran it in another PC.It produces erros that says about Open Vi referernce. I tried and copy it in to another third PC and it works. There are no llbs involved. What could be the problems?

I am using labview 7.1

Hi Clement,

do you call some dll´s from within the dynamic called vi´s? Could it be that some of these vi´s are not excecutable?

Hi Mike Thanks

But in the apllication builder with my old build script load up, there are no dlls in the souce files.

If the possibilty is that there might be dlls included, please advise me how to search gfor them from labview?

Even so, how is it that the program can work in another PC,  that was not used to develop labview program?

Hi Clement,

what do you make in your dynamic called vi´s? Do you communicate with hardware?

Hi André and Mike,

To André,

Hi Thanks, all the boxes are ticked in the configurations for Vi server already. Hmm...,  what could be the problem?

To Mike

Thanks again. Yes it is connected to advantech hardware but I have already installed both advantech manager driver and USB device USB-4716. I dun think it is the issue. Anyway i look into it further.

I mean, if the VI cannot be started via VI server the error cluster contain the error code that explain the reason of not starting. Explanation could give a clue like path incorrect or bad VI, etc.

Can you verify that all VI are started?

The VI Server is NOT a VI, it is a procedure to call a VI.

You can find it in the application pallette.
