I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you saying you want to be able to move the child window around inside the parent window?

i am waiting for the solution.... i challenged to my team, everything possible with the labview software... only for this issue i am struggling to complete my application software. lets go through this example i want to sent a child vi with in the parent vi, and it should not move out from parent vi. and if i use mouse down event on the child vi the vi should not come down...
actual requirements of my task is, i have a parent vi and child vi (i.e graph) i can move this vi to any where with in the parent vi. and the child has a invisible title bar, using mouse down event on the graph this vi can able to move to any where with out windows title bar, for that i am using "positionFPopenmousedown.vi" this vi read the current position of window. and if i press the mouse button on the child vi, the vi should not come down
