PCMCIA AI 16 E 4 crashes Dell Lattitude CP laptop (windows 95, LabVIEW 6.0.2) when trying to run "measure pulse width or period.vi"

Any ideas?

Can you run Counter operations in test panel? Does your board passes the test resources under MAX?

Try installing latest driver from National Instruments website (NI-DAQ 6.9.1) and Internet Explorer 5.5
