pda full screen

Hi,

I want to use my application in full screen. I just want to know if it's possible to hide or disable the task bar on my Pocket Pc.

I use LabVIEW 7.1 with module PDA and a PDA with Pocket Pc 2003.

I would have to say it is not possible: there is no such function in the functions palette. Furtermore, the vi properties>window appearance settings do not affect the look of the window. If it were possible, that SHOULD have worked. Lastly; there is no access to vi server to set such properties. It is a shame..

Actually, it is possible, since you can see quite a few programs doing it (like Media Player).

The trick, apparently, is calling the Win32 API (as described here), which is not supported in 7.1, because you need to have the source code for the DLL.
I wouldn't be surprised, however, if it was possible to write a small DLL in vC++ (which comes with LV PDA) which will call the windows function when called and include that small DLL with your program. I haven't tested this, but if you know some C, you may wish to try doing this yourself.
